What is it like to be born differently? I personally was born differently. I'm not talking about the uniqueness of us human has, of course, everyone is different, but not everyone is different in a good way. I was born with genetically transmitted disease, Thalassemia. I used to asked myself why me out of everyone else. But as I grew up, I'm thankful & grateful, because of this I've become a stronger person and been receiving so much loves and sacrifices from parents, and also made a lot of understanding friends.

However, not every person is fortunate like me. At least I am still able to live like the others, a normal person - I dance, party, hiking, hunt for foods and whatever I like. Just that I have a monthly medical check-up, and need to take some medication every night. But to the less fortunate one, won't be able to live like how they want it to. Just because they are different, they don't receive as much love as us even though they deserve as much as we do.

"For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others" - Sam Levenson

It doesn't matter the amount that you give, it's the matter of showing love to them and brighting up someone less fortunate life. They deserve as much as we do. Can you just imagine or feel how it is like to be different, can't perform daily activity properly, and worse of all - not receiving loves?

“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle.” - Plato

I would like to thanks everyone who have participated in the charity event for making this possible. I'm sure it would help them in some way. A big thumbs up to the SAS Club of Sunway University for organizing and spreading the loves. For those who did not have the chance to participate the event, worry not, you may still spread the loves personally to them. Here is the details of the charity home in which you may feel free to contact and make donations to them.

I have noticed, living lives to the fullest is not just about party, buying materials and gadgets, doing crazy and random things, NO. To live lives to the fullest, we must also do good to the others, crave other people's  face with a smile.

“This is my simple religion. No need for temples. No need for complicated philosophy. Your own mind, your own heart is the temple. Your philosophy is simple kindness.” ― Dalai Lama XIV

Now, if you don't have any items or monetary to be donated, it doesn't mean you are the 'not kind' person. Then, just simply share this post with your friends, family & to the public, so that others may notice and able to do something about it.

SAS Club has done their part, I've done my part, have you? Save a Child's Love.

Wednesday 21 November 2012

This post I dedicate to you my dearest sister, sweetheart, party rocker or whatever you called it, Kar Yan. Before everything else, I would like to express how grateful I am to have know you. How on earth I am not close to you earlier and only got close to you this year? God knows, even though it's not really that long, it felt like I've knew you for years. We indeed share a lot of personal experiences together, be it good or bad.

Who in 'Live Our Lives (L.O.L)'  gang would have thought that you will be a part of us, the gang? It's not a really a big gang, but with you in it, it's more than anything we could ask for and I hoped you enjoyed every single moments with us. I'm sure we had a lot of great time together huh.

I don't care how others would judge you, because to me personally, you're such a great friend, and I'm sure everyone else in the gang think the same too. We may be weak especially when others trying to bring us down (we just can't please everyone, don't we?). But I'm not afraid any more, because I know you will be there to pull me up, and I would do the same thing too.

Thanks for always being there to listen to my problems, and most of all, telling your problems to me too. I still remember, I would stay awake to comfort you at 5a.m due to shits happened. I would record my stupid face and make you laugh again.

Nevertheless, we did learn a lot from each other a lot during this periods. All of us in the gang may not be perfect, some with bad - weird attitude, most importantly we accept each others flaws. All of us have different personality and mentality yet we get along so well. I guess that what makes the gang stand out. Thanks for being the part of the family. *brofist*

Last but not least, I hope that you enjoyed the dinner session at Euro House and had a blast during the pre-birthday celebration at B.U.S even though it's not much or super grand celebration. I hope that we would be saying vulgars, gross stuffs and brofist for many years ahead. Happy Birthday to Yan Yan aaa! Live Our Lives!

If you have been reading my blog, I had blogged about Passion For Fashion 2012 previously. It was held at the Rootz Nightclub (Rooftop of Lot 10 KL) on 15th November 2012. For me, it was really a great experience to go such event. I used to go a lot of parties, but definitely not as glamour as this one. Thanks to Karen, I got to enter the event under guestlist, which means free entrance.

The party started with DJ Bento playing the music first. Then there is fashion show in which those photographers with their full equipped gadgets fighting for places. It would be awkward to stand among them as I only bring my digital camera go. Hahahahaha. But I'm still proud of my small little digital camera, despite being in the nightclub at a lowlight condition, it still takes good picture. Nevertheless, DJ Bento's music are top notch. I could party all night long with his music I swear. One day if I'm a multi millionaire, I'm so gonna invite him to play for my private birthday party *keep on dreaming*.

For your information, I'm a really short small sized guy, and people would easily misunderstood me for being underage (gosh I hate this), and I'm really amazed by those model for being so tall and still wearing able to high heels. I wonder what is the point of view for being a tall person. Hahahaha.

I got the opportunity to take photo with the famous & pretty model, Leng Yein. My table is actually behind her table only. Of course, her table is the VIP table and mine is not. Mine is just a common round table and hers are with sofa. Still, I just party the shit out of myself. I just can't resist myself from grooving and moving to DJ Bento's music.

Different people has different taste of fashion, So I think I will just go with a simple one, I'm going with an Armani Exchange tee shirt with a tailored made blazer. The girls, Karen and Chin Kit Yee went with sexy black dress. Then, Kit Yee stumble upon her friend Chin Mun Yeee, she's a model too. Which means, she's damn tall, one head taller than me. Sigh.. can I grow as tall as her naturally without any surgery or pain ? I don't mind losing 5 years of my life. Hahaha

Last but not least, we party hard with DJ Smith Agent Smith ! Another DJ with super awesome music which makes you want to jump, drink, dance, drink, make out, drink and drink harder. I admit, I was a little tipsy but I controlled myself as I need to drive. So I guess it's a good thing that I drove.

Overall I had a really good experience and had a good time too. Good thing my digital camera didn't disappoint me for taking good pictures. I would definitely coming to this party again if there is any in 2013. Thumbs up for Passion For Fashion 2012 !

Tuesday 13 November 2012

I've spent my last weekend with my room mate and his family as they come from Ipoh. On the Saturday, we went to Sunway Lagoon. Click here to see the experience. Then on Sunday, we went to the City Of Digital Lights or also known as I-City at Shah Alam. The entry fee is RM10 per car, so the more people is in the car, the more worthier it is, especially when your car is 7 seated. Hahaha. It is a great place to hangout for couples and family with children.

The night scenery I took with my camera with a fish eye effect. The place is quite packed especially during weekend or holiday. But for RM10 per car entry, we couldn't ask for more. With this beautiful sight, I couldn't resist to take a picture of myself too.

Sorry the picture has a lot of noise, couldn't expect much under a lowlight condition. Well the only problem with that place is, it is hard to find parking, especially you go after the dinner time. So, I would recommend you all to go during dinner or before that, as you can find a lot of places to eat inside such as Oldtown White Coffee, Satay Ali and etc.

Nevertheless, Malaysians are friendly. Lol. It's easy to ask them to hold my camera and snap a photo for us. Well, this is actually the 5th or 6th people who we asked them to snap photo. The earlier those people is too stupid to know how to use a digital camera and there's one who actually snap all our body and head only not including the background.

Soon, it will be the city of art as well, when I dominate the city with my painting, for now I will start with painting Mona Lisa, originally from Leonardo Da Vincci. It's almost done. Awesome right? How much will you pay me, for a student who never get a B or above in art subject. Haha.

Besides that, you can go for an Egypt-like adventure. Who knows what treasure or ancient secret you may find there. I found a secret tunnel, but it's too dark to go in. Adventurous much ?

It's just so much fun when a fake Slenderman try to scare the shit of you yet you're brave enough to pull his pants down. Well, you can do that at I-Trick at I-City and I enjoyed it very much because I love the free entry of I-Trick. So many of 'I'. Well that's all for now, visit yourself to experience it. Upcoming Christmas will be special there as I can see they're constructing a big Christmas LED tree. So, try to spend some time with your loves one regardless how busy you are. You might just bright up their day like the LED lights bright up your night.

I had some really fun Saturday. I went to Sunway Lagoon with my roomate and his family. We got the complimentary pass, in the other words, it's free entrance for us. Just for your information, the ticket cost RM90 for MyKad holder adult and non MyKad holder it cost RM120. Sunway Lagoon consist of few sections, Amusement, Wild Life, Extreme, Water and Scream. We didn't manage to enter Scream Park due to lack of time and raining for one hour when we are there.

One thing I'm really disappointed is I didn't manage to take pictures of our activity. It's either too extreme or dangerous to hold a camera and my camera is just simply not waterproof. So, I try to tell you my experience from some image from Google and some self captured. Hope you don't mind. The first thing me and my roomate played is Pirate Ship Revenge.

I swear I love to play things that make me scream or feeling adventurous. I've to admit I scream like shit for this because basically my butt don't touch the seat when the thing is upside down! Then we played something similar like Pirate Ship, which is called Tomahawk. It's similar but just it's faster. Of course, we act like kids, remember the tea cup machine? Where you spin the shit out of it?

There you go, I still managed to take a picture of it while my friend spinning the tea cup. We don't really play safe, always finding trouble for the sake of have fun. At the end of this tea cup thingy, both of us couldn't walk straight for awhile and laughed at each other stupidity. Haha.

Then it's the Wildlife park where you get to see a lot of animals, and you can actually touch them if you dare, I'm fortunately able to take pictures with this peacock while its feather is open. I look weird. There's a lot of animals such as tapir, tiger,  deer, turkey, monkey, rabbits, snake, parrots and many more. Too many kinds of animals to name it all. After the animals visiting, we went to play at the Extreme park, which is one of my favourite park of all.

Well, we played the Flying Fox. I don't know how to describe it. Basically it is hanging from upper ground place, and land on the other side of lower ground place. Maybe a picture from Google can explain better ?

Besides from Flying Fox, we also played the All Terrain Vehicle. Too bad no picture of it due to extreme condition and no other photographer. I could give you image from Google to show you how it looks like, but damn I must say, it is damn fun because you get to experience driving it to climb a small mountain. Have to wear helmet and pad. So I just show image from Google how it looks like. Sorry :P

Didn't manage to sit the Go-cart due to long que and lazy to wait for our turn. Only manage to play archery in which not even one arrow hit on target. So better not to post any picture of it. We were at the Sunway Lagoon at 10.30am to 6pm. I swear that night I was so tired, yet still stay away just to chatting at Whatsapp and ended up no reply due to fall asleep. Sorry, not on purpose. Hahaha.

Wednesday 7 November 2012

As usual routine, I'm currently intern from 8.30am to 5.30pm. Sometimes it's damn busy, but most of the time, it's damn free. Really hate the traffic at here though, it's damn insane. I-N-S-A-N-E!! Sometimes even after work and feeling like to eat outside, I have to think twice, tired is one thing, but finding the parking and all it's a whole new story. Most of the time especially office's finish hour, I would take like an hour or more to reach home. Here this is my pek-chek face at traffic jam. I don't usually play with phones when I'm driving, but the car is not even moving and I'm bored. Hahahaha.

I've to admit that I'm not familiar with the places at KL - Selangor so I would most probably don't know where to eat or just ended up at shopping mall and eat. However I'm grateful that I have friends study, work or stay at different places around KL and Selangor. So I can narrow down my craving list according to their recommendations.

Yesterday, I was recommended by my friend to try SOULed OUT at Sri Hartamas area. That place has a lot of people as usual, perfect for family and friends environment too. The price is not too pricey and reasonable.

So I choose a lamb chop - medium cooked. It is served with grill veges and potato. Surprising the portion is quite large for only RM32. It tastes really good, well marinated and presentable except that it's a little bit chewy and has some fatty sides too, which felt kinda gross (some people may like it tho'). The sauce is just okay for me. Besides of western food, SOULed Out has a lot of variety of asian food too. One of the famous one is beef noodle.

It's basically a Wat Tan Hor for the chinese, but the best thing about this is they give a lot of beef there. It cost RM14 . It taste really good as it won't be too salty or full of msg seasoning. I would recommend for the not so heavy eater.

The only critics that I would give is, I saw a large size rat under the other table. Fortunately the other table is not sited by anyone. I assume the kitchen may not be that hygienic either.  Overall my first time experience in this SOULed OUT is satisfying, most probably would come back for date with girl or hang out with friends in the future.

I'm scared to get too close to you
and then you'll run away
I'm scared to love you
and afraid you won't stay.

I'm scared you'll only hurt me
when I think it's true
I'm scared you won't be there
at the time I need you.

I'm scared you won't like me
in that special way
I'm scared you wont need me
not now or any day.

I'm scared you'll tell me lies
and I'll believe them one by one
I'm scared to see the truth
and see it was just for fun.

I'm scared to trust you
when you say you'll always be here
I'm scared to believe you
and that there was nothing there.

I'm scared you'll tell me you love me
when it wasn't true
I'm scared you'll say you want me for me
but really for what you thought I'd do.

Friday 2 November 2012

What a boring day at office. Nothing much to do as an intern. They don't really let me do the important stuffs, they only let me do stuffs as an office boy. Pity me. But oh well, I can't complain much as myself skipped two days of work due to stomach ache. I think I ate something wrong or dirty. I didn't seek for any doctor though as I can't claim any doctor fees because I'm just an intern. Only rest at home and eat plain food.

On 31st October, I went out with Debby. She is a friend of mine who came back from New Zealand recently. How do I know her? Well what if I say, gaming? Yeah I knew her through gaming where we play DotA back then, approximately 4 years ago? She's a Johor girl but studying at KL. Well, through her face she look really a type of innocent studious girl, but well, we do share a lot of not-so-good secrets together.

Weird expression me and pretty Debby

After the two days of stomach ache, My taste bud felt so plain and tasteless. I don't care if it's mamak food or anything heavy. I just need to indulge my taste bud again. Pretty good excuse to eat something nice eh? HAHA. Moreover, my room mate is overnighting at his friend house. So I'm alone for today dinner. Therefore, I've plan to date a pretty girl, Karen, for a dinner. Sounds so formal. Hahaha. Oh well, just in case you all don't know, me and her are damn close, like seriously damn. Enough said. We went to Just Thai at One Utama, since it's nearby to her place and convenience too. For the sake of doing good to the environment, I fetched her. One car better than two car ma.

Awesome foods!

The food there are awesome especially when I love spicy food. Karen ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice, and the mango gluttonous rice, while I order the Belacan Fried Rice and the Mango Salad. All the things that I ordered are literally spicy, including the salad. Worse thing is, Karen can't eat spicy at all. Oh no. She just ate a little bit of the salad for the sake of accompany me to eat. Her reaction to the moment when the salad is in her mouth its like "OMG OMG OMG SHO' SPISHYYY!". Priceless.

We do look good together right? Agree?

Haha her boyfriend would kill me if he saw this. But still, thanks Karen for accompanying me dinner during the lonely time. As a return, I pay the bill. Oh talking about bill, do you guys know that I am actually very taboo at girls treating me eat? Emergency is the only exception. At most, I can share the bill with the girls but not them treating me. Why? I don't know, most probably is just because the 'guys ego'. I always argue with my female friends over this issue. I don't see the issue when guys are being a gentleman.
