Monday 29 October 2012

**Note : It will be a long post with loads of photos.

27th October 2012 we had pre-birthday celebration for our Edmond, since he himself and us would be busy or not around at Ipoh at the actual date of his birthday which is 30th October 2012. I remembered during that day, everyone is so excited about his birthday as if it's their birthday too! So for those who are studying outside from Ipoh, such as Kampar, KL, and Melaka, came back to Ipoh just to celebrate our beloved friend a.k.a brother's 21st birthday. Why do we say 21st birthday is so important? Is it merely because we want to heat up the party celebrations? Maybe, but I guess the main factor why 21st birthday is important is because it's a number to a proper adulthood where at this age they would start thinking about their future, how many knowledge they want to gain, how much money they want to earn and blah blah blah you fill in the blanks. Back to the topic, we started our day by gathering first of course. It's because we had a surprise for him where he got no idea at all.

The surprise is, we bought a present for him! His humble and happy reaction tell us that he really liked it. We, Live Our Lives (a group of party rockers & close friends), shared money secretly and bought the Burberry shirt for him. Well I'm not going to reveal the price here. As I would say, there is no price tag for 'sincerity'. I'm just glad that he really liked it and we asked him to wear it for the birthday party bash at night. It fits him perfectly and looks good. I remember when everyone was gathered at my house, rushing to dressed up and getting ready for the party. It was always the best messed up moment.

So we heat up the S.O.S (Sensation of Sound) club at night. Two black label as the main drinks and three tower of beers for the non heavy drinkers. Besides that, we also have one Flaming Lambo as the climax drink for him. That night we have around 17-19 peoples, and the tables provided for us are quite small for that large number of peoples. But it's okay, it doesn't matter anymore when we are still going to rock the party anyway.

Small portion of us, the others are still busy socializing, in the toilet or busy vomiting. I just grab whoever I found at the moment. The pretty ladies, from left to right are, Sook Mun, Kar Yan, Mandy and Jun Yan. While the guys from left to right are : Goo, Teddy, Zheng Yu, Kelvin, Jordan and myself. As you can see the Black Label bottle are at least half gone, which means everyone is getting high and seeing rainbows already.

The birthday boy! It was hard to grab him to take picture, because everyone is busy entertaining him, feed him with alcohols. But, I can tell you that even though that his face is red but he is really a good drinker. Just imagine that, he actually drive to the club even though we wanted to fetch him from his house. Because most of the time the birthday one are going to ended up wasted. He is indeed a good drinker.

Just look at how we drink our liquors. We are literally crazy and stupid. But that's how we party rockers drink! Get high and see the rainbows, stars, and the ceiling start moving and laugh the shit out of ourselves! Even for the non-heavy drinkers, we just pour some liquor to their drink secretly. You can never see empty glasses there.

So it's time to grab the girls.... to take pictures together. I don't want to go home with the camera empty. Even though I doesn't look good, and shy (am I?) but who cares when you get high. After all, when there is beauty there must be a need of beast to neutralise it. I'm here to do my job :P

Sook Mun ; Knew her ever since we are 16. Now we are 21 & still party hard!

Kar Yan ; Never in thoughts to be close with her (especially when she's sho' pretty.)
But now she's my good friend, my sister, my ears, my party rocker, my VIP.

Mandy ; The girl who rock the party innocently.
The one who never fail to make us laugh.

Jun Yan ; Just knew her few days back, but she's really friendly and
we could talk a lot especially during getting to know each other. Interesting, but not available.

They are awesome & the one who light up my life. I wonder what am I if I've never met them. I guess I would still be the old nerd-geek me. So here we go nonetheless my brothers! :

Zheng Yu ; a brother, a housemate, a roomate. The one I can wiggle at, the one I can smack
with a bolster in the morning for not turning off the alarm clock. That's how close we are

Kelvin and Goo; Knew them when I'm 16 playing DotA. Aww the good old days.

Yee Mun, Shawn Lai, & Mandy; I knew Shawn as he was my classmate last time.
We also played many online games too. Yee Mun is his gf. Damn long
that I couldn't recall how many years but still they are going strong.

Shawn Ng (the middle) ; Knew him through Ah Yu and Edmond.
He is all buffed and sexy now compared to last time.

Teddy; Whenever we meet, we are party rocking.
Not even a single yum-cha session yet.

The handsome Goo, the crazy drinker also. I can never beat him in drinking.
Happy Birthday Bro. You look like you had a blast there. Hahahhaha

Well, I apologized for uploading so many photos for this post. It was really a long post and most probably killing the broadband users with quota. However, I hope you felt the enjoyment of Edmond's 21st Birthday. Thanks to all the peoples who attend, and thanks to Live Our Lives party rockers heating up the party. It was an epic party.

Last Wednesday, 17/10/2012. It was raining heavily at Kuala Lumpur / Selangor area. Thunders storming, yet I've decided to go for a dinner at Ikea, in which I wanted to eat their famous meatballs. So on the way back to Sunway, I was driving at reasonable speed *I swear I'm not speeding ok?* , doing a right turning, a bus hit me from behind, therefore I lost control and my car slipped, turn 180 degree and hit the divider. Fortunately, I'm totally fine and did not get any injuries.

Hell yeah a 45 degree tyre. I still couldn't believe I drove that car in that condition back to condo! It was really impressive huh? Well I didn't make any police report or claim the insurance as I told you, my car spin 180 degree and which means I'm facing the opposite direction, I was panicked. I think the bus didn't know that he hit me, as he did not brake and stop, he's just drove away as if nothing happened. So there goes my car, repaired for almost RM2k.

On 19th October 2012, I went to Beer Factory. Well who would not drink beer on October right? It's Octoberfest! Everyone was chilling at first with the two towers, but you know, chilling sometimes go bad. As there's at least 4 Octoberfest's 1 litre mug on the table, and the cheap rate of refilling it, it just went out of control.

Live Our Lives ; Party Rockers ; Octoberfest

Okay, it was literally out of control, but hey nothing happened. It was just a little bit of tipsy and a little bit of high. I'm one awesome candid cameraman. Look at the pictures! It can create rumours and a bit of scandal.  So we party up till around 3.30am and rest at mamak stall. By the time we got home, it was around 5a.m.

But guess what, the next morning, everyone woke up around 8.30am *I know it's damn crazy* and get ready to Genting Highland. It was one hell of a tired trip for me. But you know what's really nice about it? The cold weather with a hot Starbucks. We didn't do much there, just walk around chilling the weather, Starbucks, friends went gambling for awhile in which ended up come out with a funny looking sad face, and we went in to Snow World too.

Look at my tired face while they still able to smile and trying to grab some boobies *I see what you did there on the most right*. Karen *second from left* do look like a pink penguin in that sweater. Well, that sums up Accident, Beer, Trip.

Monday 15 October 2012

Last Saturday, 13/10/2012, we had some small gathering with the Live Our Lives gang. I slept till afternoon as I woke up early in the morning when I'm at KL everyday. The day started with a lunch with them at Fantasy (near Ave Maria Convent, Ipoh). The food there is ordinary but you know what's the best damn thing? Our gang got a new sister-in-law! (a term for the males' girlfriend in the gang). We can't reveal much yet, but we shall let them settle down first. But I can tell you the very first clue, I'm still single; at least for now.

Left to right: the pretty Kar Yan, tall guy Kelvin, handsome Edmond, sweet apple pie Yin Jen, & me

So, at night we went Baliz for some alcohol chilling session. The picture only shows a small part of us. The rest of them went and play Pool. Sorry to disappoint but new 'sister-in-law' did not attend this session. We only ordered two tower of beer, since it was initially a chilling and update each other.

Somehow, the manager joined our table and joke around while holding a shot of tequila, asking us who is the best drinker at the table. Of course, we, the good brothers and sisters every one pointed at our handsome Edmond, saying he is the best drinker trained at Kepong, and coincidently this month is his birthday! So the manager offer each of us one shot, with the MC-DJ announce his birthday and sang the birthday song. We still managed to joke that, this is just a warm up before his real upcoming birthday party.

By the way, William IX is having their 1st Anniversary promotion, which is 50% discounts to all items except for alcohol. For those who are around Ipoh, feel free to go and support. They offer variety of Pasta and western food.

Tuesday 9 October 2012

Recently I'm really into Jazz music. I'm not sure if I'm getting old or my music taste has changed. Every time when there is traffic jammed, jazz songs made me calm down when I felt annoyed. It's true! Nevertheless, it made good impression on girls too (tips for the guys). One of the jazz artist I really like is Simone Kopmajer. Mostly is because she turn the not so old songs into her own interpretation such as Home, Nothing's Gonna Change My Love & Way Back Into Love.

Besides that, one of the jazz artist that really stand out is Olivia Ong. She's a Singaporean (surprisingly to me at first), She even did reinterpret Frank Sinatra's song. However, I still love her self written song the most, which is 'You and Me'.

Well, for those who are really stressed up all the time, try to hear jazz songs more often. It may simply calm your mind with their soothing vocal and music. Again, it made good impression to others. Hahaha.

On Saturday 29th September 2012, I celebrated Mid Autumn Festival together with my awesome party rockers. Although there is some changes throughout the initial plan, which is the event should be held at Polo Ground but ended up it was held at my house, due to safety purpose of everyone. However, we still had so much fun together.

From left to right, Edmond, Kar Yan, myself, Yin Jen, Mandy, Yee Mun, Shawn Lai, Goh Kar Yan, and Zheng Yu. Credit to the photographer, my sister, Mimi.

Basically we were playing with lanterns, candles, and fire. Burning everything we picked up, from leaves to branches, everything. It was a great night with friends indeed. In conjunction of Mid Autumn Festival, the next day it is my mom's birthday. I gave her chicken essence from Eu Yan Sang as present.

This family photo is taken at Yeolde English, Ipoh Garden East. My sister bring along her boyfriend, Leon. While I bring Yin Jen along too. The food there is descent but I believe mom loved the moment. Happy Birthday Ma!

End this post with the picture of Yin Jen and I. Happy Mid Autumn Festival again guys.
