Sorry for not updating it as frequently as last time. This few months I had been busy with many things.
Therefore I'm just gonna update about hows my life so far in this one post. Everything! Yes everything.
Let's see, let's start during the April. I celebrated my birthday at The Butter Factory. Together with my closest friends and of course my love one. I had the most amazing birthday where I celebrate my birthday on 20th and then surprised by them again on the 22nd the actual date. By far it was my most memorable birthday.
When I was just having some drinks with my ex schoolmates. My bros and my loved one just showed up behind me with cakes and birthday song. I'm a happy guy hahaha.
That night most of us are drunk. Celebrated with 2 Hennessy, 3 flaming lambo and 70+ shots at Butter Factory Yeah my face is dirty thanks to them playing with the cake.
Then we also celebrated Kelvin Goh birthday on 31st of May at Beer Factory. Enson from Ipoh and the KL friends joined along.
By the way, I have change my hairstyle. You can see my forehead now! Haha. That's the current me, you will never be able to see the fringe covering the forehead anymore. I love the polo tee in this picture. It is a gift from my love from Bangkok. Thank you hunn!

I've been waiting on the sunset
Bills on my mindset
I can get deny theyre getting high
Higher than my income
My income's breadcrumbs
I've been trying to survive
The glow that the sun gives
Right around sunset
Helps me realize
This is just a journey
Drop your worries
You are gonna turn out fine
Oh, you'll turn out fine
Fine, oh, you'll turn out fine
But you gotta keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down, eh eh
You gotta keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down, eh eh
I know it's hard, know its hard,
To remember sometimes,
But you gotta keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down, eh eh eh eh eh
I've got my hands in my pockets,
Kickin these rocks
Its kinda hard to watch this life go by.
I'm buyin in the skeptics,
Skeptics mess with, the confidence in my eyes
I'm seeing all the angles, starts to get tangled
I start to comprimise
My life and the purpose
Is it all worth it,
Am I gonna turn out fine?
Oh, you'll turn out fine
Fine, oh, you'll turn out fine
But you gotta keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down, eh eh
You gotta keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down, eh eh
I know it's hard, know its hard,
To remember sometimes,
But you gotta keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down, eh eh eh eh eh
Only rainbows after rain
The sun will always come again.
Its a circle, circling,
Around again, it comes around again
I said
Only rainbows after rain
The sun will always come again
Its a circle, circling,
Around again, it comes around,
But you gotta keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down, eh eh
You gotta keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down, eh eh
I know it's hard, know its hard
To remember sometimes,
But you gotta keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down, eh eh
Keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down, eh eh
Keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down, eh eh
Keep your head up, oh oh
And you can let your hair down

This week I'm really exhausted. Exhausted till I actually fall sick. This is because I just finished my exam on Wednesday. Which means the days before Wednesday I'm already lacking of sleeps. Then after the exam, a close friend of mine from Penang, wanted to visit my hometown, Ipoh with her friend. So on Thursday, I offered myself to become their tour guide around Ipoh. Even though I knew her for 9 years, this was actually the first time I met her at my own hometown.
Sorry for the blur photo. It was taken at a low light condition at Sand Bistro at the Kinta Riverfront. The girl on the right of the picture is my friend. After showing them some foods around Ipoh for two days, I have to leave them on Saturday morning, it is because I have to attend a wedding dinner of my mom's cousin at Port Dickson. But still, I hoped that they enjoy the trip at Ipoh as much as I am happy to spend time with them.
The wedding dinner is helf at Thistle Port Dickson Resort, which is also the resort I stayed (since we're lazy to rush and travel around). The set up is so beautiful since it was held at the beach lawn. How I wished I could do the same too in the future, wedding at the beach.
They looked so sweet and totally meant for each other. Congratulation and wish them that they could last forever and blessed with happiness in their marriage. I had so much fun at there, I'm enjoying the environment most of the time.
The bride and the groom, as well as the family. I can't recognize all of them but some are very close to me. After all, some of them see me grow when I'm still just a baby. I have to thank my genius sister for this beautiful group picture because she is the one that passed the camera to the event photographer.
Last but not least, my sister and I. Haha I looked weird in this photo. Overall it was an enjoyable trip. The resort is comfortable, the wedding is nice, the food is awesome. I couldn't ask for more. However, I still didn't really managed to get a rest ever since the day before my exams. It's time to hibernate for a week!

So, it's another month again. How time flies, the memories of having a new year is still fresh in my head, and right now, it's already the third month of the year. Reminding myself on how much more I need to achieve this year. Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything. Well, this year resolution is to able to graduate from my stressful university. Hopefully everything goes smoothly. I'm really sorry that I have nothing much to update recently because currently I'm busy with my exams.
Went back Ipoh during the weekend even though I'm having exam today because of I thought that she's leaving to Singapore already. Anyway it has been postponed, not sure if I should be happy or not because she's still around Ipoh.
But it was great to have surprised everyone. Thanks to Whatsapp group chat that they saying where are they going during the night. It's funny when all my friends doesn't know I'm back to Ipoh and suddenly just showed up in front of them. There is no surprise more magical than the surprise of being loved.
Sometimes I really felt down from the pressures of my studies and so on. But I know I gotta stay strong, keep moving and achieve what need to be achieve this year. I am going to notice the lights of the earth, the sun and the moon and the stars, the lights of our candles as we march, the lights with which spring teases us, the light that is already present.

I know it's a little bit late to post this, but better than never right. After all, Chinese New Year hasn't end yet. (They say Chinese New Year lasted for 15 days). Well, I guess I can blog more frequent now, as my house at Ipoh, the internet has been fixed, and I'm back to KL! Oh well, studies.. really getting me headache. I'm still rushing for my assignments, it's a short semester, that's why everything felt rushing.
I'm grateful to be born in this family, well, we are neither rich nor have everything that we want. The best thing is to have, erm... family. As I grow up, I realize that the 'Ang Pow' or also known as red packets filled with money ain't that important anymore. The most important is everyone is able to gathered around. Well some family may show off their achievement and so on, but hey, better than celebrating alone.
It's been awhile we take a family photo. My awesome sporting dad, my lovely mom, and my dumb ass sister. Nah I'm not bad, it's just the way how I communicate with my sister, I'm the big bully in the family.
Besides family, I had great times with my close friends too. When I say close, we are really close, we have knew each other for many years. Most are same secondary schools with me, and some are even longer than that. We had a lot of drinking and gambling session. Who doesn't drink and gamble on Chinese New Year right?
Yea this year we have some changes, in which our KL friends came all the way to Ipoh and celebrate with us. Then, some got girlfriend already, and of course the girls from our group. It's nice to have new people into the family. Real friends are my second family. This year we are lucky enough to have many close friends able to gather together.
I am still keeping the Chinese New Year picture during 2010. Some faces are familiar isn't it? Even though not everyone is able to gather this year, but our friendship is still there, I know who is by my side when I need them. These are the friends who are by my side, not matter how fucked up am I in life. They are the one who will cheer me up, seeing my life through ups and down. I'm so grateful to have know them.
Talking about Valentine, which is also the fifth day of Chinese New Year, I celebrated Valentine as a single. However, I managed to celebrate with one of my closest friend, sister or whatever you call it. We ate at Citrus Wine & Dine, a fine dining restaurant. The menu goes like this, a set per pax started with :
Appetizer known as Garden Of Love, it's a salad with orange, pomegranate and pine nuts.
Soup known as Love Under The Sea, it's a prawn chowder served with house bread.
Main Course known as Two To Tango, duo of grilled australian lamb cutlet with pumpkin mash & pan seared salmon trout with dried fruit salsa and beetroot foam.
Desert known as 4 In Love, a berry panna cotta, chocolate tart. sticky date pudding, & citrus butter cup cake

Sorry for the long absence! But I am back with We Love Asia 2013 post! It was held on 19th & 20th of January at Sepang International Circuit, Kuala Lumpur. I only went for the 20th January, because on that day, Joachim Garraud, Redfoo (LMFAO), and Steve Aoki are playing for the night!
This was the first time I go to a rave concert / party with LOTS of friends. The music played made me dance all night and the mood is high at all the time. I don't mean to sound like a pervert, but I'm straight / normal. Lots of hot chicks went to the party. But hell yea - big thumb ups my Live Our Lives (LOL) party rock crew dancing like nobody is watching!
As you see from the pictures, I am all sweaty! Not just because from the crowd, but I literally danced all night! If I'm not mistaken, I danced the most when DJ Joachim Garraud is playing. I remember his song so much We Are The Future as he played that live from his electronic keyboard! Then not to forget Redfoo with his signature Sorry For Party Rocking.
Last but not least, STEVE AOKI. In my opinion, the best part is when all the crowd shout WE HIT TURBULANCE and everyone jump & dance together. Nevertheless he played No Beef too. During his set I was really tired already. My leg is freaking pain. So I didn't dance much.
I went home around 2am. Didn't eat my dinner as the concert starts at 5pm but delayed till 7pm because of raining. Thanks God the rain stoped around 6.20pm. But as I reached home, straight went to shower and sleep. My leg is all numb. It was an awesome night, especially with my LOL party rock crew. I LOVE ALL OF YOU!!

10th January 2013, Thursday. I've went Penang with few of my closest friends. The purpose of the trip was to hunt for foods! Previously in 2012, we managed to hunt 12 different types of foods. Guess how much we managed to eat this time? It is more or less around 15 types of foods! One of them is the Penang famous Char Kuey Teow. This Char Kuey Teow cost us RM8 per plate. It is indeed expensive for a normal stall (not even a shop), but to my surprise, it was awesome and worthy.
The prawn is super big. The taste is really nice. Even my friend who is having ulser couldn't resist it, he is still going to eat it. Besides from the Char Kuey Teow, we had some other foods such as Lor Bak, Prawn Mee, Maggie Goreng Tomyam, Pasembur, Laksa, Hor Hee, Fresh Coconut, Popiah, Rojak and many more. But as I remember, the best is definitely Penang's Curry Mee. Damn! I'm getting hungry just by writing it. I am regret that day we ate so many foods before the Curry Mee, else I'm definitely going to swallow a whole big bowl of it.
The awesome place with awesome peoples, sorry the picture is a little blur, it was taken under a very low lighting condition. This is at Penang's Straits Quay. This place indeed very attracting to me, because it is classy, besides the beach, and have a lots of yacht too!
As you see, the place is really a nice place to chill, put your stress away and just enjoy the moment. That was some environment we don't get everywhere, classy, beautiful view, yacht, the sea, live bang. To make things perfect, out of randomness, I'm treating everyone a tower of beer at Straits Quay's The Library.
At this moment, how I wish the time stops. With the perfect environment, with the right peoples, talking stupid jokes, or doing crazy things, it just seems like happily ever after. Even though the trips is deadly tiring, since we woke up damn early (and sleep late before the day), and travel the whole day, everything is worthy when friends can gather like this. I don't know how long is my life is, but when my life is filled with their joy, it is totally worth living for.
Signing out with the picture of the two drivers of the day.

I'm really sorry for the late update again, my internet at home doesn't allow me to do so. I'm so frustrated with the internet that I feel like it's no point paying for the TmNut anymore. Everyday without fail, there will be a time where the internet is not working. I can't afford to use my phone data-plan to upload photo as it will use up all my quota.
Anyway, back to the topic, Happy New Year! I'm sure most of you had a great celebrations, or at least a meaningful one. I personally celebrated new year countdown with my friends at Sensation of Sound (S.O.S) club. Again, they are few of my closest friends, and of course some friends whom I knew since we are from the same secondary school.

Even though it's really pack at New Year Eve, we still manage to get tables since they reserved one. We only have 1 tower of beer, 3 bottles of Black Label, and 1 bottle of Henessy. I guess the drinks doesn't really matter when you had great time with your friends. I also stumble upon the dancers who work for the club during the night. They are from my previous dancing studio, D'One. surprisingly all of them still recognize me since I've left the studio for more than 2 years.

The girls and the guys. The girls are from my party rock group, in fact, my blog was named after the group name, Live Our Lives. I would love to give a shoutout to them, KarYan, Sook Mun, and Karen. Love you girls!! While the guys are from the same secondary school as me, Guo Jiet (picture 2 bottom right), and Jason (picture 2 bottom left), and Vil Minn (picture 1 beside me).
So okay, enough of partying. Let's talk about New Year resolution. Everyone has at least one resolution. Whether it can be accomplish or not, it's still good to have a goal throughout the year. I have a few, but not sure if it make sense. This year I would like to study harder and smarter, but play (or party) hard when necessary. Then, I would like to crave more smiles on peoples' face. More charity to the disabled or poor people. I'm not rich, but at least I can provide some man power.
To live a happier life. More smiles (just like my doll, 24 hours smiling), more laughters with family, friends, and even strangers. It doesn't matter if life is short, or even you could live up to hundred years. But what's matter is how meaningful it can be. My life is worth living, when I make others appreciate me as who I am, as a friend, as a good person, as a good listener, as a person who make you smile, or even someone that you hate but taught you a good life lesson. As quoted from Karen,
So people, don't caught up yourselves with works or studies too much. I won't say it's not important, in fact it is important to make sure your life ahead is easier (not all cases). But there many things that value much more than that. If it's not appreciated now, you might never got the chance to do so. Remember, Live Our Lives.
